By accessing or using eLibs (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms may be updated; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your password or account emails with others. You agree to notify us immediately at privacy@elibs.app if you suspect unauthorized access. eLibs is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

You retain full ownership of the stories and content you create on eLibs. By publishing a story, you grant eLibs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that story to other users of the Service. This license ends when you delete the story or your account.

Content seeded by the eLibs team (story templates, example stories, lookup data) is owned by eLibs and provided for the benefit of the community.

You agree not to use eLibs to:

• Post hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content.
• Post sexually explicit, pornographic, or NSFW content of any kind.
• Spam, flood, or abuse the Service in a way that degrades the experience for others.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Scrape, crawl, or automate requests beyond normal use.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or the underlying infrastructure.

eLibs reserves the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or permanently ban accounts that repeatedly or egregiously violate them, without prior notice.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. ELIBS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ELIBS AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR LOSS OF PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may delete your account via Settings → Account. eLibs may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms or for any other reason at its sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which eLibs is incorporated (TBD jurisdiction — to be updated upon incorporation). Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
